The installation methods of inclination sensors can be roughly divided into three types: horizontal installation, horizontal inverted installation, and vertical installation (wall mounted).

Horizontal installation clearly means placing the tilt sensor horizontally on a flat surface, such as the ground or tabletop, while vertical installation means installing the tilt sensor on a stable surface perpendicular to the ground, such as a wall.

In general, products are manufactured with an ideal horizontal plane as the benchmark. If we only place them on a platform during use, there should be an angle output, that is, the plane is not a horizontal plane, which is a horizontal installation situation. When installed vertically (against the wall), it is theoretically the same as horizontal installation.
