Flange type radar level meter Overview:

Miran's MLD-30M series sensors are 26GHz high frequency radar level gauges with measuring distances up to 30 meters. Antennas are further optimized, new fast microprocessors allow for higher rate signal analysis and processing, and radar level meters can be used for complex measurement conditions such as river channels, lakes, shoals, solid materials, process vessels or reactors with strong dust and easy crystallization/exposure. The radar level antenna transmits a narrow microwave pulse down through the antenna. After the microwave touches the surface of the measured medium, it is reflected back to be received by the antenna system again, and the signal is transmitted to the electronic circuit and automatically converted into the level signal (because the microwave propagation speed is extremely fast, the time taken for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and be reflected back to the receiver is almost instantaneous).

 

Flange type radar level meter Features:

1. The antenna size is small, easy to install; Non-contact radar, no wear, no pollution.

2. Almost unaffected by corrosion and foam; Almost unaffected by changes in water vapor, temperature, and pressure in the atmosphere.

3. Serious dust environment has little impact on the work of high frequency level meter.

4. The wavelength is shorter, and it has better reflection on tilted solid surfaces.

5. The beam Angle is small, the energy is concentrated, which enhances the echo ability and is conducive to avoiding interference.

6. The measurement blind area is smaller, and the measurement of small tanks will also achieve good results.

7. High signal-to-noise ratio, even in the case of fluctuations can also obtain better performance.

8. High frequency, is the first choice for measuring solid and low dielectric constant media.

9. Temperature compensation, real-time monitoring of electronic chamber temperature, automatic compensation of temperature drift coefficient.

 

With advanced microprocessor and unique echo processing technology, radar level meter can be applied to various complex conditions. Using the pulse mode, the radar level meter has very low transmitting power, and can be installed in various metal and non-metal containers, which does no harm to human body and the environment.
